Exit 8
A man trapped in an endless sterile subway passageway sets out to find Exit 8. The rules of his quest are simple: do not overlook anything out of the ordinary. If you discover an anomaly, turn back immediately. If you don’t, carry on. Then leave from Exit 8. But even a single oversight will send him back to the beginning. Will he ever reach his goal and escape this infinite corridor?

The Lost Man discovers the looping corridor and anomaly instructions
Flashback reveals The Walking Man abandoned The Boy for false Exit 8
The film peaks early with masterful atmospheric horror in the corridor setup, then steadily declines as it abandons the game's premise for conventional character drama.
Exit 8 starts strong with praised atmospheric horror and immersive anomaly-detection gameplay, but loses steam in the second half as it shifts away from psychological terror toward family drama. Critics consistently noted the film works best when faithful to its source material but becomes tedious and disappointing when it deviates into conventional storytelling.
