But I'm a Cheerleader
Megan is an all-American girl. A cheerleader. She has a boyfriend. But Megan doesn't like kissing her boyfriend very much. And she's pretty touchy with her cheerleader friends. Her conservative parents worry that she must be a lesbian and send her off to "sexual redirection" school, where she must, with other lesbians and gays learn how to be straight.

The graduation day rescue
Camp life gets tedious
The film dips significantly in its middle act as some reviewers found it tedious and heavy-handed, but rebounds strongly for the climactic cheer scene and rescue
Reviewers generally appreciated the film's satirical premise and strong performances, particularly from Natasha Lyonne and Clea DuVall. While some critics found the middle sections uneven and overly broad, most praised the romantic core and the emotionally satisfying climax, with 'that cheer' being consistently highlighted as a standout moment.
