No Country for Old Men
Llewelyn Moss stumbles upon dead bodies, $2 million and a hoard of heroin in a Texas desert, but methodical killer Anton Chigurh comes looking for it, with local sheriff Ed Tom Bell hot on his trail. The roles of prey and predator blur as the violent pursuit of money and justice collide.

Mexicans kill Moss offscreen at El Paso motel
The film drops significantly when Moss is killed offscreen, breaking conventional narrative expectations in a way that divided critics.
Critics consistently praised the film's opening act and Bardem's menacing performance, with the coin toss scene emerging as a particular highlight. The middle section maintained strong tension through procedural details and violent confrontations. However, the unconventional ending choices, particularly Moss's offscreen death, created more divisive reactions among reviewers.
