Biggest Swing
The film jumps from a slow, somewhat lame opening to an engaging and clever premise once Bennie and Claire discover the alien weapon.
Item 47 starts with a lackluster setup but quickly finds its footing with the charming central couple and clever premise. The action and character work maintain strong momentum through the middle, though the ending resolution receives more mixed reactions from critics.
