Donny kidnaps Ted and rips him apart at Fenway Park
Lori breaks up with John and kicks him out
The film drops to its lowest point during the predictable breakup sequence but surges dramatically when Ted is torn apart, surprising critics with genuine emotional impact.
Ted starts strong with its outrageous premise and MacFarlane's signature crude humor delighting critics, but sags in the middle as the romantic comedy formula becomes predictable. The film redeems itself with a surprisingly emotional climax that caught reviewers off guard, balancing raunchy comedy with unexpected heart.
