Creep
Looking for work, Aaron comes across a cryptic online ad: “$1,000 for the day. Filming service. Discretion is appreciated.” Low on cash and full of naiveté, he decides to go for it. He drives to a cabin in a remote mountain town where he meets Josef, his cinematic subject for the day. Josef is sincere and the project seems heartfelt, so Aaron begins to film. But as the day goes on, it becomes clear that Josef is not who he says, and his intentions are not at all pure.

Josef kills Aaron with an axe and reveals his serial killer nature
Josef films his naked bubble bath video for Buddy
The film recovers from its weakest early moments with Josef's disturbing Peachfuzz rape revelation, jumping from 5.2 to 8.1 as the psychological horror truly takes hold.
Creep starts with mixed reception as reviewers struggled with the believability of early bizarre behavior, but gains momentum through effective psychological horror moments. The film peaks with its disturbing revelations and climactic murder, with critics consistently praising Mark Duplass's performance and the film's ability to create genuine unease without relying on gore.
