Review Sentiment
Alison gives birth and they start new life together
Ben and Alison fight and break up dramatically
The film drops significantly during the relationship breakdown and Pete subplot before recovering strongly with Ben's transformation and the birth sequence.
Knocked Up starts strong with effective character introductions and chemistry between leads, maintains solid momentum through the pregnancy discovery and relationship building. The film stumbles during the dramatic conflicts and subplots in the middle act but recovers with genuine heart in Ben's character growth and the emotionally satisfying birth sequence.
