John and Jane's massive shootout demolishes their house
John and Jane's final stand in home decorating store
The film peaks during the house destruction sequence then drops significantly during the conventional action finale.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith starts strong with praised marriage dynamics and builds to spectacular mid-film action sequences showcasing Pitt-Jolie chemistry. However, it falters in the final act as it devolves into typical action movie conventions, losing the character-driven elements that made earlier scenes memorable.
