The film starts moderately well with Jason Momoa's charismatic family scenes but struggles with heavy-handed climate messaging and supernatural mythology. The Arthur-Orm brotherhood dynamic emerges as the clear highlight, providing the most entertaining and emotionally resonant moments. However, the film suffers from tonal inconsistencies, poor CGI, and a messy narrative structure that prevents it from achieving the fun spectacle of its predecessor.
