Wanderlust

Wanderlust starts promisingly with effective culture clash comedy and memorable character introductions at the hippie commune, generating consistent laughs from the ensemble cast. However, the film loses momentum in its middle act with forced humor and particularly painful sequences like Paul Rudd's mirror monologue. While it recovers somewhat, critics found the resolution predictable and formulaic, preventing it from reaching its early potential.
