Terror Train starts with a solid premise and unique train setting but suffers from unlikable characters and pacing issues in the middle act. The film redeems itself with a genuinely surprising twist reveal and strong final chase sequence featuring Jamie Lee Curtis, though it never quite reaches the heights of other early 80s slashers.
