Peter invites all animals to take over manor
Rabbits trigger Thomas's blackberry allergy deliberately
The film crashes from its highest point during the animal party takeover to its most criticized moment with the blackberry allergy attack, representing a 3.6 point drop as critics turned against Peter's increasingly problematic behavior.
Peter Rabbit generates mixed critical reception, with reviewers praising the impressive visual effects and entertaining animal antics while condemning the departure from Beatrix Potter's original gentle stories. The sentiment peaks during the whimsical animal takeover sequences but plummets during controversial scenes like the allergy attack, before recovering somewhat with Peter's redemption arc and positive ending.
