Poison Ivy: The New Seduction
A sinister seductress vows to destroy a suburban family.
Review Sentiment
Violet seduces Ivan while skinny dipping and wearing Catherine's clothes
Joy fights back and defeats Violet in final showdown
The film peaks during Violet's seduction of Ivan but crashes dramatically in the final act, dropping nearly 3 points as critics found the ending excruciatingly bad.
Critics found this third Poison Ivy installment a mixed bag that relied heavily on Jaime Pressly's nude scenes to compensate for a recycled plot. While the middle portions featuring Violet's escalating seductions earned modest praise, the film was widely criticized for its terrible finale and dialogue. Most reviewers acknowledged it as superior to the second film but inferior to the original, serving primarily as an erotic showcase rather than compelling cinema.
