Charlotte poses for erotic photographs with Sarah
The vampire meets his death in his desolate room
The film jumps from its highest point during Charlotte's photo session with Sarah (8.0) to much weaker dream sequences (4.5), a swing of 3.5 points.
Reviews reveal a film that peaks during its erotic sequences, particularly the photo session with Charlotte Lewis, but falters badly in its horror and narrative elements. Critics consistently praise Alyssa Milano's physical performance while lambasting the weak plot, poor writing, and Martin Kemp's ineffective vampire portrayal. The film maintains mediocre scores throughout most of its runtime, elevated only by its more successful erotic moments.
