Biggest Swing

The film dips during the middle act when the plot becomes more predictable and the pacing feels relentless, but recovers strongly during the Alice vs Nemesis confrontation

Reviewers found Resident Evil: Apocalypse to be an entertaining action-packed sequel that successfully expanded the scope from the claustrophobic first film to city-wide chaos. While praised for strong action sequences, game-faithful elements like Nemesis and characters like Jill Valentine, and Milla Jovovich's continued excellent performance, it was criticized for predictable plotting and overwhelming pacing that rarely gives audiences time to breathe.
