Frank accidentally releases toxic gas from the drum
Zombies led by Trash attack the mortuary
The film peaks early with inventive setup then dips during repetitive siege action before recovering with its subversive ending.
Critics praised the droll opening and inventive zombie mythology that blends horror with mordant punk comedy. The film suffers from diminishing returns during extended gore sequences and confinement to basic locations. However, the stylish execution and darkly ironic ending elevate it above typical genre fare.
