Robin trains his Merry Men with musical number
Sheriff hires Don Giovanni to kill Robin
The film peaks with the beloved musical number then drops significantly during the middle assassination plot before recovering for the archery tournament.
Critics found Men in Tights to be an amusing but uneven effort from Brooks, with standout performances from Blinkin and musical sequences elevating otherwise predictable parody material. While not matching his earlier masterpieces, the film delivers enough laughs to satisfy fans despite relying heavily on juvenile humor. The consensus suggests a competent but unremarkable entry in Brooks' filmography that works better for nostalgic viewers than newcomers.
