Azazel survives by possessing a cat beneath the cabin
Hobbes and Jonesy investigate the seemingly impossible copycat crimes
The film jumps from its weakest point during the slow early investigation to its strongest in the final act's thrilling confrontation.
Fallen starts slowly with a confusing first act that frustrated many reviewers, but builds momentum once the supernatural elements are revealed. The film peaks with its acclaimed twist ending and final confrontation, though some found the middle sections repetitive. Overall, strong performances by Washington and the cast, plus effective atmosphere and a shocking conclusion, overcome pacing issues to create a memorable supernatural thriller.
