Biggest Swing

The film drops significantly from the praised suicidal man rescue sequence to the widely criticized car chase and wrecking ball action sequences

Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot maintains consistently mediocre reception throughout its runtime, with most reviewers acknowledging some genuine laughs from the Stallone-Getty chemistry while criticizing the film's tonal confusion and failed blend of family comedy with action elements. The film peaks early with a few well-received comedic moments before declining into increasingly absurd and poorly executed action sequences that reviewers found unfunny and tonally jarring.
