Sabotage
John 'Breacher' Wharton leads an elite DEA task force that takes on the world's deadliest drug cartels. When the team successfully executes a high-stakes raid on a cartel safe house, they think their work is done – until, one-by-one, the team members mysteriously start to be eliminated. As the body count rises, everyone is a suspect.
Critics Sentiment
Breacher and Brentwood find Neck nailed to the ceiling and disemboweled
Lizzy reveals her affair with Sugar during team confrontation
The film drops from its most brutal and effective murder scene (Neck's death) to its weakest character drama moments (team infighting and affairs)
Sabotage starts promisingly with intense action but suffers from a fundamentally flawed premise that reviewers found nonsensical. The film's strength lies in its brutal violence and Arnold's surprisingly dark performance, with the murders providing genuine shock value. However, the mystery elements fall flat, the supporting characters are largely unlikeable, and the plot becomes increasingly implausible toward the middle before recovering somewhat in the violent finale.
