Monks attempt to kill Damien but die in ridiculous ways

4.2at 1h 08m
Biggest Swing

The film drops significantly when the monks begin their assassination attempts, transforming from decent horror into unintentional comedy.

The Final Conflict starts promisingly with Sam Neill's charismatic performance as adult Damien and some effective early scenes. However, it deteriorates into silly deaths and missed opportunities, failing to deliver the epic conclusion the trilogy deserved. While Neill's performance and Jerry Goldsmith's score earn praise, the film ultimately disappoints as a finale to the Omen series.
