Revenge of the Nerds II: Nerds in Paradise
The members of Lambda Lambda Lambda travel to Fort Lauderdale for a fraternity conference. They'll have to fend off the attacks of their rival frat, the Alphas, if they want to maintain their self-respect — and, of course, if they want to get anywhere with the pretty girls!

The film drops from the entertaining musical number to the dragging middle section on the island, falling 2.5 points from the peak comedy moment to the lowest point.
The sequel starts disappointingly and struggles through a poorly scripted middle act, particularly during the island abandonment sequence. While it has some entertaining moments like the musical number and Ogre's befriending of the nerds, critics consistently found it inferior to the original, lacking heart and relying too heavily on recycled humiliation plots. The film recovers slightly in the final act but never achieves the charm that made the first movie work.
