Cart collision causes Frank Brenda and groceries to fall
The film drops from its comedic peak exploring food stereotypes to its most polarizing moment with the graphic orgy finale.
Sausage Party starts promisingly with clever world-building and food-based humor, peaks during its exploration of grocery aisle stereotypes and religious allegory, then becomes increasingly divisive as violence escalates. The film's ambitious adult animation concept resonates with critics who appreciate its originality, but the excessive crudeness and graphic finale alienate many viewers despite moments of genuine comedy.
