You Don't Mess with the Zohan
An Israeli counterterrorism soldier with a secretly fabulous ambition to become a Manhattan hairstylist. Zohan's desire runs so deep that he'll do anything -- including faking his own death and going head-to-head with an Arab cab driver -- to make his dreams come true.

The film jumps from a terrible opening that made viewers want to walk out to solid entertainment once Zohan begins his hairstyling career, a swing of nearly 3 points.
Reviews show the film starts disastrously with overwhelmingly stupid humor that nearly drives viewers away, but gradually improves as audiences get pulled into Sandler's character and the immigrant storyline. While never transcendent, the film finds its footing through consistent laughs and a surprisingly earnest message about different cultures working together in America.
