The film transforms from slow family drama to genuine thriller when Lucifer is released into the house
Burning Bright starts as a predictable family drama but transforms into a surprisingly effective thriller once the tiger is loose. Reviewers consistently praised the genuine tension and Briana Evigan's physical performance, though some criticized the autism portrayal and setup believability. The film succeeds as a modest-budget thriller that delivers genuine scares despite its simple premise.
